A Holistic Approach To Curriculum

Admissions Open - Limited Seats

The Heartism Curriculum, developed by Nandini Santhanam, forms the foundation of learning at Samarpan. It is designed to honor each child’s natural rhythm, nurture emotional well-being, and build essential life skills in a way that is meaningful and practical.

This curriculum integrates:

  • Practical Life Skills – Engaging children in daily tasks that promote independence, such as self-care, cooking, and home management.

  • Cultural and Artistic Exploration – Celebrating traditions, storytelling, folk arts, and music to create a rich learning environment.

  • Vocational Engagement – Hands-on training in skills like weaving, gardening, and bouquet-making to develop confidence and purpose.

  • Sensory and Emotional Awareness – Movement-based activities, rhythm exercises, and mindfulness practices to support regulation and self-expression.

  • Community and Social Learning – Encouraging real-world experiences like visiting a supermarket to buy groceries, interacting with vendors, and handling money to build confidence in daily interactions.

  • Practical Academics – Designed to provide the academic skills needed for functioning effectively in the world, focusing on practical applications of knowledge. For children pursuing formal education, NIOS subjects are carefully selected to align with their learning pace and interests, ensuring they develop both academic knowledge and real-life application.

At Samarpan, we do not separate vocational training or academics from life skills—they are woven together as a natural extension of learning, ensuring every child gains confidence in navigating life.

Programs Offered

Full day program

Our Full-Day Program provides a comprehensive and structured learning experience, integrating life skills, vocational training, and academic learning in a supportive environment. The day is thoughtfully designed to include hands-on activities, social interactions, and individualized learning plans that cater to each child's strengths and needs. Children engage in practical tasks, creative exploration, and real-world experiences—from cooking and weaving to guided academics under the NIOS framework. With a balance of guided learning, free play, and rest periods, this program nurtures independence, confidence, and holistic growth at a comfortable pace.

Remedial Program

Focused on individual needs, our remedial program provides one-on-one support to help children overcome specific learning challenges. By addressing sensory and motor skill development, we aim to enhance their ability to engage with their environment effectively.

Pull-out Program

This group-based program focuses on enhancing skills beyond the traditional curriculum. Through art, music, and movement activities, children develop creativity, social interaction skills, and fine motor abilities, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. As and when required personalized attention would also be given to every child.

Saturday Program

Our open program welcomes children from outside the center to participate in art, craft, and Thudumbattam (drums & dance). This initiative encourages physical activity and cultural engagement, promoting socialization and enjoyment in a supportive environment. A child can attend either the art & craft, or the Thudumbattam, or both.
